safebook (Social Apps For Enterprises)INTRANET Consulting is working on a challenging Project called "safebook" (Social Apps For Enterprises) which is an evolution of i-Bank 2.0 applications (CRM, Financial Planning, Loan Processing, etc.) where Banking Software starts looking and acting more like Facebook or Twitter.
i-Bank 2.0 & Safebook is built atop the robust and secure IBM Lotus/Domino Infrastructure and in line with the concept and a PoV (Proof of Vision) of IBM's project Vulcan. It helps Banks to become more „social“ - to stimulate creativity, enhance information sharing and drive revenue and efficiency.
Furthermore, Safebook brings the Best of the Consumer Web to Business: e.g. the selling experience of eBay, idea of product recommandations like Amazon or iTunes should lead to more business success on campaigns or during financial advisory process. The i-Bank software starts looking and acting more like Facebook or Twitter with the beautiful integration of People, Content and Applications. The concept of safebook allow Banks to quickly "follow" colleagues or experts across the organisation and collaborate with them. You not just follow people, you follow campaigns, loan applications, hot customer cases etc. - you can follow anything. Your people are talking to you , just like Twitter, but also your applications like i-Bank or external systems start talking to you via the live-feed and status updates. This is a complete new approach of enterprise collaboration on different levels.
